ABHI Annual Parliamentary Reception 2021

The ABHI Annual Parliamentary Reception, ‘Responding to a Crisis: How HealthTech Stepped Up’ recently took place. Traditionally in January, the HealthTech sector travels to the House of Commons to welcome parliamentarians to celebrate the contribution our sector makes to the health and wealth of the UK. is an important part of ABHI’s wider stakeholder engagement work. This year for Ministers and parliamentarians engaged via a virtual event on 18th January.

This years event included keynote addresses from Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock, and Professor Lord Darzi of Denham. A panel discussion took place, with speakers including Steve McCabe MP, Anne Marie Morris MP and Lord O’Shaughnessy.
